Ekspozycja nie jest jedynie zbiorem ukończonych dzieł, lecz wglądem w określoną wrażliwość oraz proces edukacyjny młodych twórców z archipelagu Balearów. To nowy wymiar prezentacji sztuki akademickiej, w którym studenci z Palmy de Mallorca dzielą się swoją wrażliwością i językiem wizualnym z publicznością w Gdańsku.
Wystawa "Bit y Atom" podejmuje refleksję nad elementarnymi cząstkami, poprzez które kształtuje się znaczenie we współczesnym uniwersum: materią i informacją, komunikacją i formą. Są to podstawowe jednostki, dzięki którym dziś rozumiemy i konstruujemy rzeczywistość - atom jako najmniejsza miara świata fizycznego, bit jako niepodzielny impuls cyfrowy. Pomiędzy nimi rozciąga się przestrzeń, w której doświadczamy współczesnego życia, tłumaczymy je i zapamiętujemy.
Poprzez grafikę warsztatową studenci nadają tym wyidealizowanym i pozornie abstrakcyjnym komponentom rzeczywistości wymiar materialny. Warstwa, nacisk, powtórzenie i ślad stają się językiem badania tego, jak informacja staje się formą, a materia nabiera znaczenia. Tym samym wystawa zaprasza odbiorców do refleksji nad tym, w jaki sposób nasze tożsamości i percepcje budowane są z tych mikroskopijnych struktur - gdzie fizyczność i informacyjność łączą się, kształtując sposób, w jaki poznajemy siebie i wszechświat, który zamieszkujemy.

This exhibition presents the artistic achievements of students from the Faculty of Fine Arts at ADEMA University School (Palma de Mallorca) as part of a unique exchange with the Faculty of Graphic Arts at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk. It offers a rare opportunity to step beyond the local academic environment and explore works created within a completely different cultural sphere.
The exposition is not merely a collection of finished pieces, but rather an insight into a specific mindset and the educational journey of young creators from the Balearic archipelago. It represents a new dimension of presenting academic art, where students from Palma de Mallorca share their sensitivity and visual language with the audience in Gdańsk.
The exhibition Bit y Atom reflects on the elemental particles through which meaning is formed in the contemporary universe: matter and information, communication and form. These are the fundamental units through which we now understand and construct reality - the atom as the smallest measure of the physical world, the bit as the irreducible pulse of the digital. Between them unfolds the space in which contemporary life is experienced, translated, and remembered.
Through printmaking, the students take these idealized and seemingly abstract components of reality and render them tangible. Layer, pressure, repetition, and mark become a language for exploring how information becomes form and how matter becomes meaning. In doing so, the exhibition invites viewers to consider how our identities and perceptions are assembled from these microscopic structures - where the physical and the informational converge to shape the way we know ourselves and the universe we inhabit.
