In this session, talented pianist Benji Rosado will provide a dynamic musical interpretation as we screen two silent film classics by Charles Chaplin and Buster Keaton. Additionally, the musician will talk a little about the historical context of silent cinema
Benjamín Pablo Rosado Mitte is a pianist from Madrid, of Ecuadorian origin; is a versatile musician with classical education, a pianist with a very wide range of skills and styles. He plays jazz, Latin, classical and Latin American folk genres, intertwining and combining them with great freedom. His playing is full of emotions, humor and allusions drawn from various styles and songs. He co-creates the duo 2sensitive (https://www.instagram.com/2sensitive.music/) with vocalist Ania Canta also living in Madrid (originally from Tricity) and the quintet Ginger Notes (https://www.instagram.com/gingernotes_music/) .
